A photographer's website has one job most other business websites don't: get out of the way of the photography. Juliana Cole needed a personal brand and site built around that principle.
As a personal brand, Juliana Cole Photography needed a site that felt as personal and considered as the work itself, not a generic photography template with a portfolio grid bolted on. The brand needed to communicate who Juliana is, not just what she shoots, while still letting the photography carry most of the visual weight.
Personal brand projects live or die on restraint. The instinct with a photography site is often to add more: more sections, more copy, more design flourishes, when the better move is almost always to add less and let strong images do the work. We built the site's structure and pacing specifically to showcase the photography first, with brand and story elements woven in without ever crowding the work itself.

Juliana Cole Photography now has a site that functions as both a portfolio and a personal brand: a single destination that reflects her actual style, instead of a generic template every other photographer's site also uses.
Good photography deserves a site that trusts it enough to stay out of the way.
